Boston College Sailing Wins 2011 ICSA/Gill Co-ed National Championship

Congratulations to the Boston College co-ed sailing team, who earned another National title in the Gill/ICSA Dinghy National Championships at the Columbia River Gorge in Cascade, Oregon. The victory is the school's fifth Sailing title and second straight co-ed National Championship. 

Boston College earned 161 points in the win as the Eagles' B-Division boat led the way with just 66 points and top four finishes in 10 of their 14 races. Boston College's A-Division boat finished with 95 points. 

Hobart & William Smith finished second with 188 points, while Harvard had 190 points. Georgetown earned 203 points to finish fourth and St. Mary's rounded out the Top 5 with 210 points.

The Miami Hurricanes sailing team finished in 10th place with 280 points. #ACCSailingSolidarity

Congrats to Tyler Sinks (BC '11), Laura McKenna ('13), Lucy Wallace (‘11), Taylor Canfield ('11), Daniel Bloomstine ('11), Emily Migliaccio ('11) and Patrick Hession ('13) on bringing home another National Championship to the Heights.
