Anthony Castonzo Drafted 22nd Overall By Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts selected Boston College senior left tackle Anthony Castonzo with the 22nd pick in the NFL Draft. Congrats to Castonzo, who celebrated with friends and family at his home in Illinois.

The anchor of BC's offensive line for the last four years will now help protect Colts quarterback Peyton Manning. Here's Stampede Blue's reaction to the pick:

"This is great news for a team in desperate need of Offensive line help, as Castanzo will anchor an offensive line that has struggled the past few years, despite many sacks of Manning. He should be able to step in right away and start in Week 1.

I love this pick. Finally an investment in protecting Manning, other than running short passes and depending on Manning to get rid of the ball fast. With the rest of the AFC South making reach picks across the board, the Colts clearly look like winners on night one."

Go here to vote on the Castonzo pick! (Colts fans are loving them some AC.)

The Colts are getting a great lineman in Castonzo, which seems like a steal with the 22nd pick overall. Castonzo is one of the smartest players in the Draft, has great footwork, a solid frame and has been tested against all sorts of D-linemen in the ACC. Great to see Boston College represented once again in the first round of the NFL Draft.
