Today is BC's annual Pro Day at the Alumni Stadium bubble. Castonzo, Herzlich and others will hit the field to try and impress NFL scouts and better their draft status. Individual player drills start at noon.
Castonzo is currently projected as a late first round pick, while Herzlich is expected to go in later rounds.
While the spotlight will primarily be on Castonzo and Herzlich, other Eagles will hit the field today as well. BC's Alex Albright, DeLeon Gause, Rich Lapham, James McCluskey, Jordon McMichael and Damik Scafe will all participate in drills, as well as a few local players from UMass and Harvard.
Here are some BC Pro Day links.
2011 NFL Mock Draft: Cam Newton Remains No. 1 Pick Over Blaine Gabbert (SB Nation)
SB Nation's latest mock draft has Castonzo being taken by the Giants with the 19th overall pick in the Draft. "The Giants are aging up front, Castonzo's draft stock has consistently risen all off-season, and the Tom Coughlin connection makes this a logical choice."

2011 NFL Pro Days: Marz Herzlich And 49ers Positions Of No Need (Niners Nation)
"Herzlich does not strike me as a guy the 49ers would draft, but I've seen his name mentioned off and on in threads. He played outside linebacker at BC but seems more suited as either a 4-3 OLB or a 3-4 ILB. Conceivably he could fill the Ted role, but it seems like NaVorro Bowman will get first crack at that job if Takeo Spikes walks this offseason. I wish Herzlich the best of luck, but I'm not seeing him on the 49ers radar at this point."
Low Wonderlic scores ding elite NFL prospects (Yahoo! Sports)
... but not for Castonzo. He scored a 41 on this year's Wonderlic exam, behind only Alabama's Greg McElroy (43 of 49). Castonzo scored a 35 the first time he took the exam last spring.
Castonzo out to help more than his own game (BuffaloBills.com)
"I think Castonzo is a top 15 pick," said NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock. "I like him in the run game too even though he was on the left side. He also did well at the Senior Bowl. They moved him around a lot and with the exception of a few snaps in the game he had a good week."
Scouting report: Boston College LB Mark Herzlich (Sporting News)
"Bottom line: Herzlich missed all of 2009 while battling bone cancer. And though it is now in remission, his bout with the disease will concern some teams. Still, he's a solid third-round prospect because of his ideal size and work ethic. Look for him to be a core member of special teams, and don't be surprised if he gets some playing time on defense as a rookie."
