Last Five Meetings:

W - Boston College 2, at Northeastern 0 (October 9, 2010)
W - at Boston College 7, Northeastern 1 (February 21, 2010)
L - at Northeastern 3, Boston College 2 (February 19, 2010)
W - at Boston College 5, Northeastern 1 (November 7, 2009)
W - at Boston College 4, Northeastern 1 (March 7, 2009)

Trends: The Eagles, winners of six straight and 13 of their last 14 games, are just 5-5 in their last 10 games against the Huskies. Northeastern hasn't won a Beanpot Championship since 1988. That's quite a few years ago (I was 6). The Huskies are, however, off to a fast start in 2011, having gone 7-2-2 since the new year. For being just a four team tournament, BC and Northeastern have amazingly only met two other times in the Beanpot Championship Game. Northeastern won in 1980 (5-4 OT), while Boston College won in 1983 (8-2).

Northeastern's Leading Scorers: Sr. Wade MacLeod (13-16-29), Sr. Tyler McNeely (10-13-23), Sr. Steve Silva (6-11-17), Fr. Brodie Reid (5-12-17)
Northeastern's Leading Goaltender: So. Chris Rawlings (9-9-6, 2.12 GAA, .935 SV%)

BEANPOT!!!! Leave your thoughts on the game below. Go Eagles!

Prediction: Sticking with my pre-Tournament prediction here. Boston College 6, Northeastern 3 (MVP: Cam Atkinson)
Record-to-date: 17-7-0
