Bonus picks!

Jeff:

1. Notre Dame vs. Florida State (-3). FSU is a very good team this season while Notre Dame is not and Notre Dame just does not cover spreads in bowl games since Lou Holtz left.

2. Washington vs. Baylor (-9). There is good reason why RG3 won the Heisman.

Brian:

1. North Carolina vs. Missouri (-4). Missouri got the ol' BC treatment from the Big 12 -- leaving the conference? Let's send you to a bowl game that isn't even affiliated with the Big 12. Nevermind the fact the Tigers beat Iowa State, Texas A&M, Texas and Texas Tech this season -- teams that got slotted into actual Big 12 bowls. In addition, North Carolina is also playing in a bowl slot one higher than they should be by virtue of the Sugar Bowl gift the Hokies received. Last game for UNC interim coach Everett Withers. Like the Tigers big here.

2. California vs. Texas (-3). Forget that this game is played in California. A 4-5 team from the Big 12 > a 4-5 team from the Pac-12. Want more pithy analysis? Texas beat U.C.L.A. 49-20 earlier this year. Cal lost at U.C.L.A. 31-14.
