Second Thoughts On The ACC Weekend: Mulligan Edition (ACC Sports Journal)
I almost skipped the Eagles, because I’m not sure changing one game in their schedule would change how their season would turn out. But for the sake of this exercise, let’s go with BC’s narrow loss to the Blue Devils. If Nate Freese makes a chip shot field goal in the final seconds, maybe BC doesn’t board the express train to the ACC basement. Then again, given that all its other ACC losses have been by eight points more, maybe the train just makes a few more stops along the way. Confidence is a funny thing though, and you have to figure a home loss to Duke did some serious damage to BC’s collective psyche.

LET'S GET NUTTY...OR ARE WE STUCK UNTIL 2013? (Heights and Lows)
If 2012 is going to be a failure on the field no matter what - new coach or same coach, 4-8 or 5-7 are optimistic unless this team completely changes form - but won't hurt the wallet that much, there is no reason to change. 2013 doesn't have quite the same prospects in terms of guaranteed cash flow. The ACC capsule reverts back to the Wake Forest-NC State-Florida State home games, and TOB is about as likely to be there in 2013 as Spaz will be.

ACC Football Power Rankings, Nov. 7 (ACC Sports Journal)
11. Boston College (2-7, 1-5). Rolandan Finch’s 243-yard rushing performance against Maryland now looks like the product of facing an atrocious run defense and not the breakout game of a future star. Finch was held to 2.1 yards per carry by FSU’s defense and fumbled the ball away twice.

ACC power rankings: Week 11 (ESPN ACC Blog)
11. Boston College (2-7, 1-5 ACC; LW: No. 11) – The Eagles’ streak of 12 consecutive bowl games has come to an end, as it’s no longer mathematically possible for BC to reach the six-win mark after the 38-7 loss to Florida State. The Eagles will try to play the role of spoiler this weekend for NC State, which is two wins shy of bowl eligibility.

ACC Grades - Week 10 (Fox Sports South)
Credit the Eagles for playing hard and for always-entertaining linebacker Luke Keuchly's incredible effort. But there was no way BC was going to defeat Florida State, not even at home and in prime time on a Thursday night. The Eagles don't have enough fire power, as evidence by their 207 total yards in the 38-7 loss. Grade: D.
