Boston College Basketball To Hold Super Secret Scrimmage Against Seton Hall

Yesterday we reported that Boston College Basketball will open their season with an exhibition against a place called the "American International College," which is allegedly a college in Massachusetts. This in and of itself was news to me. But what we didn't tell you was that the Eagles will be holding their first scrimmage of the year this Saturday against Seton Hall. Secret scrimmages are the norms in the college world, and are a way for the team to tune up in game situations without the press or fans there.

This year's scrimmage is at Boston College, which must mean that its going to be at the practice gym at Conte Forum or possibly the 'Plex. The men's hockey team will be hosting UMass-Lowell that night so they won't be able to use the main gym. The scrimmage isn't open to the public because it is super secret, so don't try to get in.

Some other super secret scrimmages of interest include:

-- Virginia Cavaliers at Vanderbilt Commodores
-- Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at South Carolina Gamecocks
-- Charlotte 49ers at Wake Forest Demon Deacons
-- Boston U. Terriers at Rider Broncs
