Boston College Football Midseason Review: Eagles Not Making The Cut (SB Nation Boston)
You don't say?
Freshman Gaudreau Stays Hot for BC (College Hockey News)
"I committed to Northeastern when I was really young," Gaudreau said. "I was 16, and they were the only Hockey East school I had talked to. Northeastern gave me the chance, and I took it because I thought at [5-foot-8] I may not get another chance at one of these. When all three coaches left at Northeastern, I was let go of my commitment. Boston College was one of the first schools to call. I visited, they like small players so I felt it was the right fit."
At BC, it’s Milner time (The Boston Globe)
"It wasn’t very hard for me to figure out or try to rationalize why we are getting on a bus with a victory,’’ York said. "Clearly, it was Parker Milner. He was outstanding. It’s almost unfathomable to me that there weren’t five or six goals scored tonight by the Wildcats. Some of the saves were just spectacular. It wasn’t our forecheck, it wasn’t our special teams, it wasn’t our faceoff play. It was strictly our goaltending.’’
Five Goals Power No. 5 WIH Past New Hampshire (BCEagles.com)
Junior defenseman Blake Bolden and sophomore forward Taylor Wasylk each tallied a goal and two assists to help the Boston College women's ice hockey team secure a 5-0 victory over New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon in Kelley Rink. A second period power play goal from Wasylk was all the Eagles (2-1-1, 1-0-1 WHEA) needed to get past the Wildcats (3-2-1, 0-1-1 WHEA) for the fourth time in seven meetings.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE REGGIE WOULD MAKE (Heights and Lows)
I know this year doesn't look, on paper, to be one we can get excited about to the tune of "Deep March Run." How many more wins could Reggie have been worth? Would he have made enough of an impact this year that BC could have gotten into the tournament? Even more so, isn't there is the opportunity for him to be the teach to that ridiculously young team how to come together.
ACC Football Power Rankings, Oct. 17 (ACC Sports Journal)
12. Boston College (1-5, 0-3). The Eagles haven’t scored 20 points against an FBS opponent yet. It’s going to take twice that number to have a chance at knocking off Virginia Tech on Saturday.

The No. 14 Boston College men's soccer team outshot Clemson, 19-7, but the Tigers scored in the 27th minute and then again in the waning moments to win 2-0 Friday night at Historic Riggs Field.
