Over the weekend, BC received their ninth verbal commitment for the class of 2011 with Everett, MA running back Manuel Asprilla.
Everett senior running back Manny Asprilla verbally committed to BC. The 5-foot-10, 170-pounder was a dual threat coming out of the backfield for a Crimson Tide team that advanced to the Division 1 Super Bowl last year.
Rivals is reporting Asprilla has been recruited as a cornerback. Both junior cornerback Isaac Johnson and sophomore strong safety Jim Noel also hail from Everett.
Asprilla joins Andover tight end Brian Miller and Lawrence Academy's Max Ricci as the third local recruit to join the Class of 2011. BC currently has nine verbals for the class of 2011, including three offensive linemen (Ricci, David Bowen, Kieran Borcich) and two defensive linemen (Connor Wujciak and Brian Mihalik).
