Last Meeting at Conte Forum: Boston University 5, Boston College 4 (OT) (January 22, 2010)

Boston University's Leading Scorers: So. Alex Chiasson (5-9-14), Jr. David Warsofsky (5-9-14), Fr. Sahir Gill (4-10-14)
Boston University's Leading Goaltender: Jr. Kieran Millan (4-1-5, 2.61 GAA, .919 SV%)

Despite last night's final score, BC put in a thoroughly dominating performance in a 9-5 win over BU. The Eagles tallied 37 shots on goal, went 3 of 8 on the power play, held the BU power play to 3 goals of 15 chances and added a short-handed goal. It took all of 3 goals on 10 shots in the first period for the Eagles to chase BU goaltender Kieran Millan from net.

Cam Atkinson added 2 goals to his team-high 13 goals this season, and nearly had a natural hat trick if not for a penalty called on Joe Whitney (hitting after the whistle). Atkinson beat BU goalie Grant Rollheiser on a breakaway, but the goal was disallowed after the referees blew the whistle on Whitney.

Speaking of penalties, hopefully we can get through a game with less than 27 penalties tonight. Tim Benedetto and Tom Fryer definitely lost control of the game last night. Let the kids play.

As for my prediction tonight, let's break out the brooms by playing the hot hand in John Muse.

Go Eagles!

Prediction: Boston College 4, Boston University 2
