Bryant Bulldogs (1-8, 0-1 NEC) at Boston College Eagles (8-2, 1-0 ACC)

Time: 3:00 PM EDT
Date: Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010
Place: Conte Forum, Chestnut Hill, Ma.
TV: Nope
Line: No line

Last Time Out: The Eagles opened ACC play on a winning note, defeating Maryland 79-75 at the Comcast Center.

Series: Boston College leads the all-time series 2-0.
Last Meeting: Boston College 72, Bryant 46 (Dec. 20, 2009)
Bryant's 2009-2010 Record: 1-29 (1-17 NEC)

Possibly Mildly Interesting Storyline: The Bulldogs are coached by former BC assistant coach Tim O'Shea (Boston College '84 '86). O'Shea played on the Heights and was a staffer under Skinner at both Rhode Island and BC. It's the first chance for a coach from Skinner's coaching tree to knock off Donahue and the new Eagles coaching regime.

Bryant's Probable Starters:

G - Corey Maynard (Fr.) - 6'2", 185 lbs., Adelaide, Australia - 4.2 PPG, 2.7 RPG
G - Frankie Dobbs (So.) - 6'3", 185 lbs., Berea, Oh. - 14.8 PPG, 2.7 RPG
G-F - Cecil Gresham (Sr.) - 6'5", 205 lbs., Bloomfield, Ct. - 13.3 PPG, 4.8 RPG
F - Alex Francis (Fr.) - 6'6", 205 lbs., Harlem, N.Y. - 12.4 PPG, 7.4 RPG
F - Vlad Kondratyev (So.) - 6'8", 225 lbs., Nikolayev, Ukraine - 5.0 PPG, 3.4 RPG

The Eagles are looking for their sixth straight win as they host the Bryant Bulldogs. The two programs are currently headed in two very different directions -- the Eagles have won five straight while the Bulldogs have lost six straight. The small school from Smithfield, Rhode Island is in their third year as a transitional Division I-A basketball program, and will become full fledged members in 2012. Over the last two seasons, Bryant has gone 2-37.

kenpom predicts an 86-54 victory with 99.6 percent confidence.
