Some are starting to take notice of the BC men's hoops team and their hot 8-2 start.
Did I say some? I meant just one person, as in the one vote the Eagles garnered in this week's AP Top 25 poll. Hey, it's something, right?
BC's Reggie Jackson was named this week's ACC Player of the Week on Monday for his contributions to the Eagles' wins over Providence and Maryland. Over the two games, Jackson scored 42 points, including 5-6 from three-point range, brought down 12 boards and doled out 9 assists.
The men's team isn't the only hoops program that is gaining more and more respect.
On Sunday, the women's team defeated Rutgers 84-75 to move to 10-0 on the year. Their 10-0 mark is the women's best start in program history. This week, the Eagles cracked the AP Top 25 -- just barely -- at 25.
