This is just piling it on at this point. Under Armour-outfitted college football teams went 9-1 in week 8, including blowout victories to the tune of 59-6 (Utah over Colorado State), 42-0 (Temple over Buffalo) and 45-7 (Hawaii over Utah State).
Sadly, we all know which program was the lone loser of the weekend. On Saturday, the Eagles lost the Under Armour Cup play-in game to Maryland. With the loss, BC is eliminated from UA Cup contention. Last week, North Texas was the first team to be eliminated from UA Cup contention and the following week, the Mean Green decided to fire their head coach. Could BC be the next to ax their head coach for failing to capture this year's UA Cup?
The top of the league table will likely continue their winning ways, with a majority of UA outfitted teams significant favorites heading into this weekend's action, including Akron at Temple (-27), Tennessee at South Carolina (-17 1/2), Idaho at Hawaii (-13 1/2) and Toledo (-11) at Eastern Michigan. Only Texas A&M, BC and North Texas are currently underdogs this weekend.
