Introducing The Under Armour Cup

Last year, College Game Balls -- now The Key Play -- brought us the Jesus Cup, a season-long competition among religiously-affiliated FBS football programs. In 2009, TCU won last year's Jesus Cup with a 12-0 regular season record. Boston College finished third at 8-4, behind TCU and 10-2 BYU.

As much as I'd like to carry the torch and continue the Jesus Cup (College Game Balls, may it rest in peace), I thought it only appropriate to see the Jesus Cup retired along with College Game Balls.

To fill the empty void left by the Jesus Cup, and to liven up this college football season a bit, we debut the Under Armour Cup. With Reebok, it wasn't much fun as Boston College was the only college football program outfitted by the Canton, Mass-based adidas subsidiary. Now with Under Armour, hey look. We have college athletic apparel friends!
