Here is our preliminary blogpoll ballot for week 13. The college football regular season is all but complete. And while this college football season can largely be considered a dud, last weekend's college football lineup was pretty awesome. Plenty of nailbiters and overtime games for your holiday college football fix.
The weekend's biggest winners:
- Our stomachs
- Boise State - the Broncos saw Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh and Georgia Tech's BCS at-large hopes take a huge hit this weekend.
- Houston - the Cougars were leading inter-city rival Rice 59-0 at half, and went on to win 73-14 to claim a spot in the Conference USA championship game against ECU
- SEC - South Carolina, Florida and Georgia went 3-0 against their in-state ACC rivals. New year, same old ACC.
The weekend's biggest losers:
- ACC - see above re: Clemson, Florida State and Georgia Tech
- Oklahoma State - Cowboys get blanked in Bedlam by a 6-5 Oklahoma team. That can't be sitting too well in Stillwater.
- Pittsburgh, Mississippi and North Carolina - ranked teams that couldn't get it done in this weekend's rivalry games
