Is the Maryland Athletics Department just feeding misinformation to Dienhart to make the Terps coaching search a little more interesting? Or is the Leach-to-Maryland movement actually "losing juice"?

I guess we'll finally find out what's going on at 3:00 today. It will be interesting to see if Friedgen is there or not and whether they name a successor at that time... There is a link on the above link to watch the press conference at 3:00...maybe we should have an open thread for it?

If you can't schedule BC, become a head coach in a conference where your programs gets to play the Eagles? Randy Edsall hasn't exactly been shy about his desire to coach a "BCS program" over the past few years, and it looks like Edsall is showing interest in the head coaching position at Maryland. It sounds like it's Leach or bust in College Park, but Edsall to Maryland is certainly intriguing. The guys at Testudo Times are all over the Maryland coaching search.

Interesting article about Ralph Friegden. Looks like Maryland may force him out and go after Mike Leach. That could be a HUGE pain in the butt for FSU down the line, don't want to see Leach in the ACC. I also laughed when they said Mike Locksley from New Mexico would be a candidate. I hope Maryland goes after him!!!
