The NCAA has informed the University of Miami that it will consider invoking its "willful violators" clause, lifting the traditional four-year statute of limitations in the Nevin Shapiro case. That means the U could be sanctioned for violations dating all the way back to 2002. It also opens up the possibility of the Hurricanes being classified as "repeat violators" for their baseball programs probation from 2003-05.
Basically, not good.
