— Mike Golic on ESPN Radio this morning. Why does it matter? Mike Golic is considered a booster by the NCAA and just took a bunch of football players to a concert. I know there are other former student athletes who read this blog so let me know, this is a compliance violation right? We had a similar issue on my team where a kid with out thinking, reported a ride he got home with someone going that way after a competition. He had to make a charitable donation equal to the cost of a bus ticket. What the NCAA would do, is make those student athletes pay the value of the trip each way, any food/lodging and the cost of the tickets. Thats the killer. Last weekend in Foxboro, good seats were going for as much as a grand. Im tired of getting screwed over by ND. Im calling them on this one. Suck it.
