Boston College women's soccer team had two players earn honors from Soccer America this week. Sophomore Kristen Mewis was named a first team Soccer America MVP list, while sophomore Victoria DiMartino earned second team honors.

Online voting is underway for the 2010 Soccer News Net regional and national Player of the Year awards, and BC forward Victoria DiMartino and midfielder Kristen Mewis could use a boost. The Soccer News Net editors selected Victoria and Kristen as two of the best players in Division I college soccer, and put them on an online ballot for fan voting, which counts for 40% of the total votes counted in selecting the national and regional winners. Tens of thousands of votes have already been cast, and both players could use your support. There's plenty of time for Eagles fans to make their voices heard. Vote here to help DiMartino and Mewis:
