Chris Birdsall, a goalie from New Jersey, announced this week that he will play collegiate hockey for the Eagles. Birdsall is a '96 birth year, which puts him in line to head to the Heights in 2015. However, it's possible that he could be accelerated to 2014 to perhaps have a year behind Brian BIllett instead of being thrown into the fire as a freshman. Birdsall has experience on some of the national squads as he attended camp with the national team development program and played for the Team USA U17s. Welcome to the Heights, Chris!
