Boston College has hired former Minnesota Vikings QB coach Kevin Rogers to the football team's vacant offensive coordinator position, according to reports in the Herald and Globe.

The list of external candidates grew the past several days as those Spaziani interviewed included Kevin Rogers, former Minnesota Vikings quarterbacks coach; Jim Hofher, University of Delaware offensive coordinator; Peter Vaas, former Holy Cross quarterback and QBs coach at South Florida; and Mike Kruczek, offensive coordinator for Sacramento of the United Football League. Also on the list was former Patriots, Giants, and Cowboys assistant coach Chris Palmer, now head coach of Hartford of the UFL.
