Where the rest of the ACC ruins it for the rest of us. Miami is still the lone ACC team in this week's poll (at #19), while N.C. State, Florida State, Clemson, BC, Georgia Tech and (huh?) Virginia Tech are receiving votes.

College Football BlogPoll Top 25 Week 3: Where 3/4 Of The ACC Predictably Gets The Boot

How five blogs are still voting for Virginia Tech is beyond me. Did they accidentally mean to select "Virginia" instead? The Eagles received just 6 votes this week. All of those votes came from ACC blogs. Half of them came from BC blogs.

The roundup has been posted over at SB Nation. Go and check it out. None of the three Boston College blogs won any major awards this week, which is probably a good thing (save it up for next week, boys).

At approximately this time next week we'll be enjoying real live college football. Can you believe it? Well, on the internet, anyway, as the Presbyterian College Blue Hose take on Wake Forest to kick off the college football season (Thursday, September 2 at 6:30 ET on ESPN3.com). However, we couldn't properly start the season before unveiling the college football preseason BlogPoll. Boston College didn't make the Top 25, as only roughly 1 in 10 voters included the Eagles on their ballot. Head on over to the BlogPoll's new home to check out the preseason Top 25.
