BC Interruption, a Boston College Eagles community

Thanks to last night's 4-1 win for BC over Vermont and BU's 5-3 win over Merrimack, the Eagles and Terriers will face off on Friday night.

The no. 2 Boston College Eagles will face the no. 7 Vermont Catamounts in the Hockey East Quarterfinals.

On Tuesday, NBC Sports Network announced its college hockey broadcast schedule for the coming season. There are quite a few more games than there were last season. Eight additional games, to be exact, and 24 in total.

The defending National Champion Boston College men's ice hockey program has released its 2012-13 schedule. This year's schedule is highlighted by 10 games against NCAA Tournament teams from last season, seven non-conference games and two tournaments.

The school's website has yet to release the defending National Champions 2012-13 schedule, but everyone else in Hockey East has now released their schedules -- including Hockey East, which gives us a glimpse at this coming season's slate of games.
