BC Interruption, a Boston College Eagles community

When [Wake Forest offensive guard Joe Looney] got to the ACC, those smaller, weaker, defensive linemen weren’t around anymore. In their place? Guys like Boston College defensive tackle/small country B.J. Rajii. Looney remembers vividly his first encounter with the Eagles’ brick wall in a jersey.

"It was one of the first plays of the game. I tried to go for a cut block off him. I think I bounced off one of his thighs. He was so big.

"It just showed me, ‘Hey kid, welcome to college football.’"

At the ACC football kickoff Sunday, Bryan was asked question after question about Wilson, including some that bordered on ridiculous, like whether the color of the jerseys involved played into Wilson’s decision to transfer to Wisconsin.

"Not really," Bryan answered, gamely. "It’s good for him and obviously good for them. I wish the best for him."
