Sister SBNation site College Crosse breaks down a recent editorial on if UCONN should jump into D-1 college lacrosse.
Now the Big 12 is doomed and WVU is going to the SEC.
Really interesting, makes you wonder about the possibilities.
Syracuse AD wants unequal bowl revenue distribution; clearly has not reviewed the Orange's recent bowl history. Also, no Cuse baseball.
This is a loose connection to BC Sports but something I find interesting. As a top 25 academic institution, in addition to a major FBS program, is this the latest mis-step by ND or is it a step towards the university realing in the football program? Clearly Kelly has had some missteps since arriving (The student who died while filming and the girl from St. Marys who killed herself). Do people believe this is a step where Kelly is bringing in players who are not going to reflect the University well? Contrary, is this a step by the University to bring some more accountability to the program and send a message it's time to toe the line? Seems like an interesting topic as programs like BC, ND, Stanford are constantly confronted with the question of do they lower academic standards for athletes.
BC doesn't get much love. Any chance we could turn 74 loose on their board?
