Speaking of Demko, the Boston College freshman goaltender saw limited action, but certainly made no mistakes. There is no doubting Demko's ability to stop pucks, but one thing he said he's putting an emphasis on is playing the puck. Twice on Thursday night he came out of the net to play the puck to start the transition.

It just really gave us an extra week to prepare. There’s so much film out there; you can only watch so much film, but with an extra week you can really get into your film study, really just game plan properly and make sure that you’ve done everything possible that you can to prepare for the game.

"We want to set the offense up to score and getting takeaways is the best way to do that," said Jones. "You want to set up the offense with good field position and let the offense capitalize off that field position. "It helps you to want to get more turnovers when you see them turn it into points.
