Eagles to play the Hofstra Pride Friday at 7pm.

The 24th ranked Boston College Women's Soccer team is heading to the NCAA Tournament. The Eagles will be facing off with the Colonial Athletic Conference Champion Hofstra Pride. The Eagles have history on their side as they have played Hofstra in 2010 and defeated them 5-0. The Eagles finished the season 10-7-3, and will be heading to the NCAA's for the 10th consecutive season.

BC soccer has had a string of success under coach Allison Foley. As coach, Foley has led the Eagles to 12 of their 16 NCAA births. The Eagles are led on the field by Kristen Mewis, who leads the team in points with 57. Sophomore Stephanie McCaffrey also had a break out season with 42 points, followed by standout freshman McKenzie Meehan. Senior goalkeeper Alexa Gaul has won all 10 games for the Eagles, racking up a 1.31 GAA, and 3 shutouts.

The opening round matchup will be played on Friday November 9th at the Newton Soccer Field at 7pm. Tickets are available at the gate, so make sure you head down and support our women's soccer team. Go Eagles!
