One of the Eagles' remaining targets is off the board.

Robert Davis, a three star rated recruit according to Rivals, has committed to Memphis, according to the school's official Twitter account. Davis, who plays for the Carrollwood Day School, choses the Tigers over Boston College, Cincinnati and USF, the other finalists for his services.

The Tampa, Florida native had originally committed to Cincinnati and head coach Butch Jones before Jones took the top job at Tennessee. Jones was replaced by Texas Tech's Tommy Tuberville, but his official visit with the Bearcats new staff was underwhelming.

"The visit just went a little sour," Brown said. "It wasn't the same as when we went in the summertime. Coach Jones was there then, and he's just a little different."

Addazio made a late push to nab another offensive skill position player for this year's class, but sounds like it wasn't meant to be. Having picked up a commitment from upstate New York RB Tyler Rouse, it probably didn't make sense to add yet another running back to the class.

Best of luck to Davis at Memphis.
