Boston College Vs. Army Game Time & TV Information Announced

Danny Wild-USA TODAY Sports

1 p.m. kickoff on ESPN3.

On Monday, the ACC announced game times and TV network information for a handful of games for Saturday, October 5. Boston College's home game against Army draws a 1 p.m. kickoff and will be televised on ESPN3.com.

The choice of network is somewhat disappointing, but it's an improvement on last year's Army home game televised on CBS Sports Network for those who don't get the channel as part of your cable package. Then again, others who don't get ESPN3 as part of their cable package will similarly have to scramble to catch the game.

It also would have been nice to get a kickoff time later in the afternoon considering that this game is an Internet-ONLY special, but 1-3 Army vs. 2-1 Boston College ... those are the breaks.

Rest of the games for the weekend of October 5:

Saturday, Oct. 5
Ball St. Cardinals at Virginia Cavaliers, RSN, 12:00 p.m.
North Carolina Tar Heels at Virginia Tech Hokies, ACC Network, 12:30 p.m.
Army Black Knights at Boston College Eagles, ESPN3, 1 p.m.
N.C. State Wolfpack at Wake Forest Demon Deacons, RSN, 3:30 p.m.

Clemson at Syracuse, Maryland at Florida State and Georgia Tech at Miami have all been six-day optioned with game times and networks for those games set to be announced by Sunday, September 29.
