Nine Boston College Players Named To All-ACC Teams

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

Andre Williams, Nate Freese and Kevin Pierre Louis highlight a FSU studded lineup.

The ACC media announced their All ACC teams today and there were nine Boston College Eagles on the list. Andre Williams, Nate Freese and Kevin Pierre-Louis were all named to the first team, Matt Patchan to the second, and Steele Divitto, Andy Gallik, Kasim Edebali, Alex Amidon to the third, while Ian White received honorable mentions.

Andre Williams was the only player to be voted in unanimously in the ACC, which is interesting because you would have assumed that Jameis Winston would have been too. The other shocker was that PK Nate Freese was picked over FSU's Roberto Aguayo who may be the odds on favorite to win the Groza. Maybe the ACC media noticed how special Freese was more than the Groza selection committee. Speaking of Florida State, they led the ACC with 17 selections, while Duke came in second with 11. BC almost doubled their honored athletes, up from five in 2012.

Congratulations to the nine Eagles honored!
