The Eagles have improved their position in a majority of publications' bowl projections this week. SB Nation's Jason Kirk has BC all the way up to the ACC's number 3 bowl (Russell Athletic Bowl) vs. soon-to-be Atlantic Division foe Louisville. Don't really see that Sun Bowl rematch vs. USC happening, College Football News.

More importantly, only one publication -- CBS Sports' Jerry Palm -- has Syracuse bowling this week. Even with a loss this weekend, Palm still projects BC to the Music City Bowl.
