We Need A Real Eagle Mascot

The bald eagle - like most other birds of prey - has made a remarkable comeback since it was nearly eliminated in the lower 48 states by widespread use DDT. Today, the bird is just as majestic, but no longer threatened. It has been removed from the federal government's endangered species list. So, let's get one. For use as a mascot. Auburn has long had a golden eagle. It looks cool, and it's shown during every televised Auburn football game. What's the mascot face of BC football? A guy who dresses up as metrosexual English sparrow. A real eagle could be trained to fly around the stadium before games and at half time, or we can keep it simple. It's easy to get a rehabilitated eagle that can no longer fly, and will be happy on its perch. Finally, we have 67 wooded acres on which to keep it. It'll eat the squirrels, and then we can build the baseball stadium.
