The Boston College women's basketball team will travel to Madison on Thursday, December 5 to take on the Wisconsin Badgers in the seventh annual Big Ten-ACC Challenge. This will be the second meeting between the two programs in the challenge. The Eagles traveled to Madison in 2011, falling 58-50. BC is 1-1 all-time against the Badgers winning the first meeting 76-70 in Chestnut Hill in 2003.
Overall, Boston College is 2-3 in the series, having participated in the five of the six Challenges and each of the last five.

Boston College is coming off a 12-19 (5-13 ACC) year in head coach Erik Johnson's first year as head coach of the program. The Eagles lose just one senior to graduation -- senior guard Kerri Shields -- but add UConn forward transfer Lauren Engeln to the lineup in 2013-14.
