With the commitment of Travis Jorgenson to Georgia Tech, people are now left to wonder who the BC staff is recruiting for next year. The answers are all follows:
1. Darryl Hicks (Shelbyville, Kentucky)
Hicks, from Trinity High School, is known as a shooter that can attack the basket with solid athleticism. BC had recruited him before, but they seemed to have lost contact until Jorgenson decommitted.
2. Jon Severe (Brooklyn, New York)
Severe is known as NYC kid that can really attack the basket and shoot the ball. Playing for Christ the King High School, he’s really seen his recruitment blow up over the last few weeks.
3. Jalen Norman (Nixa, Missouri)
Norman is a very athletic player that can also pass the ball very well for his size. He’s a very interesting prospect too, as tons of high-major schools have shown interest in him but few have offered, with BC being one of them. He plans to reclassify right now, but BC is trying to change that.
1. Rashard Kelly (Woodstock, Virginia)
Rashard is exactly what BC fans are looking for in a big man right now: strong and athletic. Over the past few months, BC has recruited him hard, and it appeared at one point that they were the leader for him. Since then, however, there’s been talk he’s seriously considering reclassifying to 2014 now. What helps BC’s cause is that he’s a teammate of BC signee Garland Owens at Massanutten Military Academy.
2. Darryl Reynolds (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)
Reynolds is a very similar player to Kelly, and since he's from Philadelphia, you know he's a tough player. He transferred to Worcester Academy from Lower Merion High School and has had a solid season for them. However, his grades are apparently a concern, which has held some teams back from offering.
3. Thomas Hamilton (Chicago, Illinois)
Hamilton is a polar opposite as a player to Renyolds and Kelly; super skilled but only an average athlete. He needs to improve his defense and motor, however.
