Boston College Hockey Toy Drive Starts This Friday

Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE

BC hockey will once again be hosting a toy drive for Children's Hospital Boston

Bill Arnold, Kevin Hayes and Brian Billett, with the help of Cheryl Duddy Schoenfeld, BC alumnus and long-time member of the PIke's Peak hockey booster club, invite you to participate in this year's Boston College Hockey toy drive, to benefit patients at Children's Hospital in Boston.

Fans coming to Friday's game against Holy Cross, or the December 6 game against UNH, are asked to bring a new, boxed, unwrapped toy to donate to the drive. You are also welcome to bring cash or checks payable to Children's Hospital Boston.

BC hockey players will visit Children's Hospital over the Christmas holiday and deliver toys to patients who will be unable to go home for the holidays. The children get a thrill not only receiving the gifts, but also from getting a visit from our championship-caliber hockey team.

This drive is a wonderful example of why we as a BC community are so proud of our hockey team, on and off the ice. Please support these efforts by donating to the toy drive. If you have any questions, email Cheryl Schoenfeld at cmschoenfeld@comcast.net.
