Those of you in Boston know that today is the greatest day in the history of sports. How do I know this? Well the Patriots have already gotten more coverage related to tonight's AFC Championship game than every Boston College sporting event in 2012-2013. A stretch you say....I think not.

But it did get me to thinking. What was the greatest sporting that you ever attended? So many people I know will be at Gillette today and this one will either be that event or certainly qualify as a candidate for the list.

Me, well unfortunately, it was not a Boston College event. My all time great game would have to be a candidate to be on anyone's all time great list, particularly when the subject is college basketball. March 28, 1992, Philadelphia Spectrum, East Regional Final - Duke vs Kentucky. My seats essentially the same as the view you see on TV all the time, from behind Grant Hill as he heaves the pass down court to Christian Laettner.

So what about you? Interesting to see if the greatest games of your lives are actually college events or with most of us being from metropolitan areas, pro events. Was it a BC game or another team?
