The Division I-A Collegiate Senior All-Star Bowl will be played on February 2 at Eagle Stadium in Allen, Texas. The game features college players either originally from Texas or who play college football in Texas against players from everywhere else. The game is an additional opportunity for college seniors to be evaluated by NFL scouts.
Pantale, who finished the 2011 season with two strong performances against Notre Dame and Miami, had a pretty quiet season after missing the first six games of the year with a broken foot. He finished with 21 receptions for 189 yards and two scores in 2012. In four seasons, the Wayne, NJ native caught 98 catches for 986 yards and 7 TDs.
In addition to the Texas vs. the Nation game, Pantale will also participate in the 2013 Casino Del Sol All-Star Game on Friday, January 11 in Tucson, Arizona. The game will be televised on one of the ESPN networks as well as on ESPN3.com and Watch ESPN.
In other All-Star Game roster news, Boston College offensive tackles John Wetzel and Emmett Cleary will participate in the 2013 Raycom College Football All-Star Classic in Montgomery, Alabama on January 19. Both Wetzel and Cleary have also been invited to this year's NFL Combine.
Congratulations to Chris, John and Emmett.
