Is the high amount of out-of-conference day games on BC's basketball schedule a ploy to increase BC's attendance?

What has been an issue for every BC basketball team, good or bad, is their lack of attendance to out-of-conference home games. With BC filling up half-full (sometimes at most) to out-of-conference home games, Coach Donahue has said that he wants to make Conte Forum a far more louder place to play than it is now. Having said that, when you look at BC's basketball schedule, there are far more home out-of-conference day games listed than night games. Here's some stats to compare this year's home schedule to last year's:

2011-2012 season

OOC Home Day Games:

Boston University
Bryant
Rhode Island

OOC Home Night Games:

New Hampshire
UMass
Penn State
Stony Brook
Sacred Heart
Harvard

2012-2013 Season

OOC Home Day Games:

Florida International
Auburn
Bryant
St. Francis (NY)
New Hampshire
Providence
Holy Cross
Dartmouth

OOC Home Night Games:

Harvard

And Coach Donahue is probably right in doing this, because BC's average attendence on out-of-conference home day games is 4,374, compared to an average attenedence of 3,553 for home night games (you can take out Harvard from that number considering that 3/4 of the sellout crowd were Harvard fans).
