The weekend is over. Catching you up.

BC needs more Swig. The Eagles used the week off to get healthy. Sounds like WR Bobby Swigert, who has been recovering from a knee injury, has been practicing, but whether he's ready to go this weekend is another matter.

"Bobby has been cleared to practice," the coach said. "He practiced the other day. Now where he's at, and the rust, et cetera, et cetera, he's still got that to deal with, but he's been cleared to practice."

Olympic Sports roundup. The fourth ranked Boston College women's soccer team faced two teams on the road this weekend, falling to No. 13 Wake Forest 2-0 on Thursday night but rebounding to knock off No. 8 Virginia Tech 2-1. The women's team improves to 8-1-2 and 2-1-0 in the ACC. The no. 22 women's field hockey team defeated Providence 3-2 after losing to seventh-ranked Virginia, 3-1, on Friday night. The Eagles are an even .500 on the year (5-5, 0-2 ACC).
