Two Jesuit high schools join Notre Dame in Ireland

Loyola Academy (Chicago) and Jesuit College Prep (Dallas) were among the schools joining Notre Dame and Navy in Dublin, Ireland, this weekend. The two Jesuit high schools played each other to an exciting finish: Jesuit edged Loyola, 30-29.

Loyola and Jesuit weren't the only high schools invited to the tournament, nor were they the only Catholic schools invited. I'm sure it was quite a weekend for the kids-- sightseeing, football, and, for some, a return home.

Not that it's an arms race, but does BC have anything planned to reinforce its ties to Ireland or Catholic schools? Most Dallas kids (with the exception of Jesuit and relatives of alumni) don't know Boston College is a Catholic school.
