The next Round of 16 matchup in our Ultimate Boston College Football Game series pits Group F winner, the 2003 win over Virginia Tech, against the Pool E runner-up, cancer survivor Mark Herzlich's comeback game to open the 2010 season.
Here's the current bracket:
BC's victory over Virginia Tech in 2003 was only the Eagles' second ever win in Blacksburg, joining the 1995 20-14 victory. With Matt Ryan's late game heroics four years later, the Eagles notched their third road victory in the all-time series. In all, BC is 3-6 on the road and 3-6 at home vs. the Hokies.
