On Tuesday, the University of Maine became the seventh Hockey East program to release its 2012-13 schedule. So you can pencil in three more dates on the defending National Champs schedule for this upcoming season. The Black Bears host BC on November 2 before making the return trip to Conte Forum on January 25-26.
The Eagles dropped the regular season series 2-1 to Maine, including the disastrous early January trip to Orono which sparked Boston College's eventual championship run. BC got the better of the Black Bears in the game that counted, defeating Maine 4-1 in the Hockey East Championship game for the Eagles third straight tournament title.
Other announced dates include a November 24 non-conference home date with Dartmouth (7 PM), the Mariucci Classic (December 28-29), as well as opening up the new year with a January 5 home game against Yale.
