On Sunday night, the Boston College football program picked up its 17th commitment for the Class of 2013 in Ohio wide receiver Drew Barksdale. Barksdale is a two-star recruit per Scout.com. The 6 foot, 180 pounder chooses Boston College over claimed offers from Air Force and Ohio.
Barksdale is the third receiver commit for the Class of 2013, following the commitments of Saint Clairsville, Ohio WR Dan Monteroso and Waterbury, Connecticut WR David Coggins. The program also continues to rely heavily on the Buckeye State as Barksdale is the seventh commit of the class from Ohio.
