The first poll of the season is out and ACC media has Boston College 5th in the Atlantic Division. This is not really much of a surprise as most media hasn't predicted much out of the Eagles so far.

As follows here is the pre season conference polls:

Atlantic Division
1. Florida State Seminoles
2. Clemson Tigers
3. N.C. State Wolfpack
4. Wake Forest Demon Deacons
5. Boston College Eagles
6. Randy Edsall's Dream Job

Coastal Division
1. Virginia Tech Hokies
2. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
3. North Carolina Tar Heels
4. Virginia Cavaliers
5. Miami Hurricanes
6. Duke Blue Devils

Florida State was selected as the preseason ACC champs.

Last year the Eagles were ranked fourth in the preseason polls, and we all saw how that ended up. At this point BC probably could be interchangeable with Wake at four, but becaus ef the Deamon Deacons previous success they got the nod from the media.

How do you feel about this year's ACC preseason poll? Think the Eagles are too low? Too high? Leave your thoughts in the comments! Go Eagles!
