The Role Of The NCAA In Punishing Penn State

The NCAA is set to reveal sanctions against Penn State for its hand in the Jerry Sandusky abuses.

There is little dispute that Penn State should be punished-- but is it the NCAA's responsibility to punish Penn State beyond what the legal system will do? Do you believe this falls under the NCAA's jurisdiction? What do you believe is a fair punishment? Additionally, what precedent will this punishment set for future extraordinary transgressions?
