Months removed from making a second consecutive appearance at the NCAA Frozen Four, the Boston College women’s ice hockey team will add another pillar to the program when it drafts Brooke DiBona on Monday, May 7. The occasion will officially begin the Eagles’ commitment to Team IMPACT, a non-profit organization aimed at improving the quality of life for children facing life-threatening illnesses.
Panthers 2012 Draft Pick Profile: LB Luke Kuechly (Cat Scratch Reader)
At the moment it seems like a value pick getting the best LB at #9 overall. I think in time the value will only grow as he becomes a Pro Bowl quality player. Kuechy in many ways brings more value to the Panthers than Von Miller did the Broncos being selected #2 overall last season. So at worst Kuechly was selected at the right pick based on his ratings.
Men's Basketball Honors Announced (BCEagles.com)
Freshman forward Ryan Anderson earned team MVP honors and senior forward Peter Rehnquist captured the Frank Power Memorial Award, highlighting the program's year-end Roundball Club Banquet. The event was held in the Shea Room on the Boston College campus.
