Boston College teeters on the edge of irrelevance (Dr. Saturday)
Harris' dismissal put this team in a bad spot, pure and simple. A lot of people will want to blame Spaziani, but Harris isn't guiltless here and if this team struggles again, he'll shoulder as much blame as Coach Spaz.
Will BC miss RB Montel Harris? (ESPN ACC Blog)
Spaziani acknowledged that the Eagles never knew what to expect from Harris during his extended battle with knee problems. "That’s been precarious at best," he said of Harris’ recovery. "We thought he was gonna be all right three weeks after the first surgery. Nothing has ever changed on that. It was always a very delicate situation and hopefully it’ll resolve itself."
THE CURIOUS INDEX, 5/2/2012 (Every Day Should Be Saturday)
MONTEL HARRIS, REPORTING TO DIVEMASTER STEVE. Frank Spaziani is a fool, and is also a fool. That is all.
2012 College Football Coaching Hot Seats (RantSports.com)
Since taking over for Jeff Jagodzinski, fired for interviewing with the New York Jets, Spaziani is a middling 20-19. That’s not horrible for a school like Boston College and I’m sure the administration realizes the larger issue is finding another Matt Ryan. College executives always consider these minute details right alongside the seriousness of trading Under Armour for Reebok.
ACC 2012 NFL Draft Review (ACC Sports Journal)
While some Panthers fans (okay, it was me) wondered if Carolina had more urgent needs on the D-line and in the secondary, pretty much everyone agreed that former BC linebacker Luke Kuechly will be a heck of an NFL player. Former Notre Dame Guard Alex Dragicevich Has Conflicting Reports On Possible Transfer To Boston College (SB Nation Indiana)
Alex Dragicevich transferred away from Notre Dame in March, and reports started to come out about a move to Boston College on Wednesday, though there are conflicting reports against that rumor as well.
Punch A Syracuse Fan, Lose Your Business (Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician)
Hey ACC fans, just a heads up for the future. If Syracuse Orange fans enter your drinking establishment with the expressed purpose of cheering for said Orange on one of your TVs, do not ask us to leave and certainly do not assault us. You will lose your business.
Chris Kreider of New York Rangers paying early dividends (ESPN New York)
Kreider has commanded the back pages of New York City tabloids and captivated the attention of the league with his staggering transition to the NHL. Since making his professional debut in a nerve-rattling Game 3 against the Senators at Ottawa's Scotiabank Place April 16, Kreider has tallied two game-winning goals for the Rangers, the last of which had the crowd at Madison Square Garden chanting his name in Game 1 of the semifinals.
Chris Kreider’s Crazy April (NY Magazine)
He began April as student at Boston College preparing to play in the Frozen Four, and he'll end the month tonight as the Garden's newest fan favorite — a rookie sensation who's notched the game-winning goal in two of the six professional games in which he's played. Here, now, a look at Chris Kreider's April.
