It’s been a rough ride so far for Spaziani and the Eagles. Since taking over the program in 2009, Boston College has seen a decline in win totals each season: 8 in 2009, 7 in 2010 and 4 in 2011. Granted, losing star running back Montel Harris to injury last season hurt but that still doesn’t account for the fact that this program has finished near the bottom of the ACC in scoring offense since Spaziani took over. It also doesn’t help that BC is 0-5 versus teams in the Top 25. Anything better than six wins this season could spell doom for the 65-year old coach.
