Luke Kuechly shows off his goods (
"You have to start again at the bottom, kind of like my freshman year (at BC)," said Kuechly. "It’s one of those things where you take in everything kind of like a sponge, you have to soak up what everybody is telling you. You have to talk to the older guys who have been through it before and base it on that. But yup, it is back down to the bottom again and I’ll have work my way back up."

Top LB prospect Kuechly has 'things you can't coach' (
"Height and weight and stuff they get at the combine are good measuring sticks, but there are other things that go into it such as work ethic and taking coaching," Kuechly said. "There are a lot of things you can't measure at the combine."

What Ryans means for Eagles' draft (
Well, Kuechly, who scouts think could be a Day 1 starter both in the middle and on the strong side, still certainly could be a possibility, depending on the Eagles’ opinion right now of Jamar Chaney, Akeem Jordan and Moise Fokou.

The knock on Kuechly is a lack of big-play ability, as he didn't record a forced fumble or sack and had only two interceptions last season. Regardless, the "Mike" linebacker is supposed to be a tackler, allowing others around him to make plays. Kuechly is slated to go in the middle of the first round and could be available to the Bengals at No.17--especially with the Eagles recently trading for DeMeco Ryans.

CB Fletcher, a notable Combine snub, out-shines LB Kuechly at BC Pro Day (
As Kuechly told Jeff Howe of following the workout, "I haven't done a whole lot of man coverage, so I can't tell people I'm off the charts with it," Kuechly said. "It's a lot of technique work. We worked on it a little bit down in Florida, just kind of different techniques, but I think it's a lot of technique work and something I've just got to pick up on the fly."

Rudolph's attorney, John Seed, said there's serious question whether the recording even exists. "He is innocent until proven guilty. There are a lot of facts that have to come out," Seed said.

Not much to rivalry talk (
"Part of the reason to go to Boston College was because of coach Skinner and (assistant) coach (Pat) Duquette," Ravenel said. "They really believed in what they wanted to do with me and make me a better player. And then once they left, I just didn’t want to stay any more."
