Pairings are set for the 2012 Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Basketball Tournament, which gets under way Thursday at the Greensboro Coliseum.

Despite finishing the season a disappointing 2-14 in conference play, Boston College finishes at the 11 seed and will face sixth-seeded VIrginia (21-9, 9-7 ACC) in the first round. BC won the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Tigers (2-14) by virtue of their 56-53 victory over Clemson back on February 16.

The Eagles will face a Virginia team that defeated BC 69-58 in Charlottesville on January 21.

Thursday's game against the Cavaliers tips at 8 PM and will be televised on the league's regional sports network. That means either Fox Sports Net South (FSNS), ComCast Sports Net (CSN), Fox Sports Net Florida (FSNFL) or New England Sports Network (NESN).
